It’s been a minute, hasn’t it? I keep drafting and trashing and redrafting a post about my partner’s recent hospital experiences (which are ongoing, but he will be fine), and maybe I will ultimately say something about that later. But until I figure out what, I wanted to post one more time in 2025 and wish everyone a happy holiday season!
Be kind to yourselves and make sure to take time for recentring and grounding. The holidays are full of celebrations and stressors and feel generally disconnected from time as we wait for the new year to roll around. We pass the winter solstice, which means the sun sets a little bit later each day, in a way that I can perceive early on, making me optimistic for the eventual return of spring.
Despite being atheist/agnostic, I’ve taken off Christmas Day and will be offering reduced hours on Christmas Eve. I also have some pet sitting dates coming up early next month and will be unavailable from Sunday, January 4th to Sunday, January 11th inclusive. Any other times in my calendar are available for booking if you need some help relaxing or want to celebrate the holidays with some self-care.

If you are interested in a tarot spread to mark the end of the year or look forward to the new one, book yourself a meditation coaching session (30 minutes for a five-card spread, 60 minutes for ten cards) and I will guide you through the imagery of one of my many decks. I just received the Fat Folks Tarot from a dear friend, which includes lovely representation of larger bodies in a range of skin tones with a guide book written by Cassandra Snow of Queering the Tarot. I invite you to go deep into the imagery of each card, and metaphorically hold your hand as you explore what messages the cards hold for you.
As I mentioned at the end of September, I will be maintaining my current rates into 2026, which includes package pricing and my permanent PINKPURPLE discount for massage. If you would like to gift a massage to someone, reach out to me at info@luromassage.com for a virtual gift certificate. Stay tuned for news about my upcoming certification as an ADHD coach; I will be looking for volunteer case studies before I launch this service in the new year.
Take care and may you and your loved ones have a happy holiday season!
